Laurie Lachs serves as the Public Affairs and Events Manager at CGE, and has been with the organization for three years. In this dual role, she organizes and runs the annual development events, including the Hope Takes Flight Luncheon and Spring Market, the Ken Daneyko Golf Classic, and the Hope Lives Here Gala.  In addition to organizing and running fundraising events at The Center, Laurie works to increase awareness of CGE’s mission and programs in the Legislative and business communities through communications, meetings, and tours.

Having spent over 15 years on her local Board of Education with the last three as Board President, she is a fierce advocate for quality education for all students. Laurie is committed to making a positive impact in her community.  Before joining CGE, she was a stay-at-home mom to her two children and held leadership roles in multiple PTA’s as well as township civic and sports organizations.  She currently serves as the President of her local Women’s Club and Treasurer of the Mayor’s Charity Fund.
